Our Services

Complete garage door repair & installation

We handle the full run of residential garage door work at every North Florida location: broken springs and cables, bent tracks, worn rollers, opener repair and replacement, panel replacement, and complete new door installs with wind-rated products. The approach is the same on every job. Measure the door, diagnose the actual failure, quote the fix and the replacement side by side, and finish the work from stock. No service plans, no mystery fees, and no technician who cannot explain what he is doing.

Why Maverick

Why choose Maverick Garage Doors

The speed of a large company with the accountability of a local team.

Springs sized, not guessed

We measure wire gauge, length, and door weight and match the spring to the door instead of grabbing the closest one off the shelf.

Storm-season ready

Wind-rated doors and bracing kits for the Atlantic coast and the inland counties that still catch the wind.

Straight talk on price

You get the repair-or-replace math in plain numbers, in writing, before an appointment goes on the calendar.

Technicians trained in-house

Every technician learned to weigh doors, wind springs, and rebuild openers at the Ocala shop before working a location on their own.

Local Florida teams

Dedicated technicians in 10 cities means faster arrival and people who know your area.

Root-cause repairs

We fix what actually failed on your door and explain it plainly, so the same problem does not come back next month.

Urgent Repairs

Garage door stuck open or broken?

Call your location across Florida.

A broken spring with the car trapped inside is the most common urgent call we get. Phone your nearest location during business hours, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, tell us the door size and what you heard, and the location will move the repair to the front of its schedule. If the door is off its tracks or jammed part-way, leave it alone until the technician arrives. A loaded spring is not a do-it-yourself problem.

  • Urgent repairs prioritized in the schedule
  • Door secured and made safe
  • Technicians dispatched from your location
  • Written pricing, no surprises

How It Works

From first call to finished job

Every location follows the same four steps, so you always know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Call or contact your location

Reach the Maverick Garage Doors location nearest you Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–5 PM, or send a message through the contact form. Describe the door and what you've noticed.

  2. 02

    Get a written quote

A technician looks at the job, explains the options, and puts the price in writing before any work starts. No work begins until you approve it.

  3. 03

    Schedule the appointment

Pick an appointment window during business hours. The location confirms the time with you and notes any parts that need to be ordered in advance.

  4. 04

    Work completed and checked

The job is finished, tested in front of you, and documented. You get the paperwork for your records and a straight answer on what to watch for next.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

Everything you need to know about our garage door services. Can't find your answer?

All ten North Florida locations keep the same schedule: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Sunday. Repair and installation work is arranged by appointment with the location during those hours. If you phone outside that window, leave a message with the door size and what happened, and the location will call back on the next open day.

Call or contact the location closest to you, or use the contact form on this site and name your city. Tell us the door width, the age of the door if you know it, and what it is doing or not doing. The location will confirm a date and an arrival window with you. There is no online scheduling; a person handles every request.

Do not try to lift the door with the opener, and do not have two people heave it up by hand. A door with a broken spring weighs its full weight, which on a double door is often over 200 pounds. Call your nearest location during business hours and say the spring broke; the location will move the appointment to the earliest slot it has. Springs are stocked at every location.

Once the technician has weighed the door and found the actual failure, you get the price on paper before any tool comes out. If a replacement door makes more sense than the repair, both figures sit side by side on the same sheet. Maverick Garage Doors does not sell service plans, add trip surcharges, or pad the parts list, and nothing is billed that you did not approve.

Yes. The Florida Building Code assigns a design-pressure requirement to every county, and a replacement garage door must carry a label showing it meets that number. Coastal counties around Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Daytona Beach carry higher numbers than inland Ocala or Gainesville, but no county in the state is exempt. Every door Maverick Garage Doors installs is labeled for the county where it goes in.

Often it can. Florida insurers use a wind mitigation inspection form that lists garage door opening protection as one of its items, and a door with a documented design-pressure rating may qualify for a discount. Keep the door's rating label and your invoice for the inspector. Ask your insurer what documentation they want, since the credit and its amount are set by the carrier, not by us.
